C. 6-7
The reason that I ranked my physical well being so low is because I currently have not been doing any exercises to help promote my physical wellness. I do not feel nearly as healthy as I used to in the past and this scares me with my age.
Spiritually I need to get back into worship services on a regular basis. My spiritual life has been suffering since I moved from Georgia. I have not really started searching for a new church and I need to. I still pray daily, believe in the Lord, and try to live my life well but I have much room for improvement.
Psychologically I feel that I am pretty good as I challenge myself mentally everyday with work, school, and life in general. I tend to be a bitter, angry person and with that said I need to work on become happier mentally.
My goal for my physical well being is to start working out daily on my AbCircle Pro and quit making excuses. Spiritually I need to do more soul searching, walk closer with my God, and get back into a church so that I am around other believers so I can feel better spiritually. Psychologically I need to learn to forgive, let go, and relax. Daily I need to make time for myself to meditate, relax, and just focus on myself instead of everything around me. This would make me feel better all the way around.
The relaxation experience was great. I have a hard time focusing and totally relaxing. I hope with practice this will get better. His voice in very calming and helps you to stay focused on what he wants you to be doing. This was helpful. I loved the rainbow idea as I find them miracles sent to us from God to make us smile. Have a great week
Ann,
ReplyDeleteI understand exactly how you feel when it comes to spiritual needs. I have recently moved to Texas from Virginia, and have yet to find a church to attend. This is one of my main goals to increase my spiritual wellness. I still pray everyday, but I feel like I need to be more involved. I also think it will be great social interaction for my 1 1/2 year old in this new place. I hope you can fulfill your spiritual needs!!
Kaylah,
ReplyDeleteThat is funny because Texas is where I moved too as well. Good luck in find a church as well. It will be great for you and your baby. There is no better place to raise our children and let them learn how they are to behave in society. You are absolutely correct it helps us spiritually to be around other believers, surround ourselves in their love, and to grow spiritually.
Ann,
ReplyDeleteChanging routines, moving, whatever, I usually stop exercising. I noticed getting frustrated easily. A recent death in the family threw me for a loop. I couldn’t deal with all the family drama then I remember those endorphins. Getting those endorphins was good for my body, mind & spirit. Early morning I started walking. There is a walk path near me. It is a ½ mile to get there. If I walk around the circle twice, it is a mile. I got the idea to increase my aerobic burn. I walk a ½ mile around the circle then jump rope 30+ times. It usually is not 30+ straight jumps then walks a ½ more with a faster walk. Those endorphins kick in. I am calm and ready to tackle everything. It is my time to communicate with God too. I walk to praise music and think about the things I am grateful. Worshiping with believers is important. We feed and strengthen but ultimately our grown comes from within.
